The learning curve in creating integrations can be high initially for non-developers.

Some features aren't easy to debug. The amount of documentation also means not everything is easily discoverable, and the reader might be overwhelmed with it.

My business requirement is to keep the logs for more than 7 days, which is not supported by Prismatic.

There's really just one thing I would mention here and that is the lack of an easy way to search in individual execution log results. There is a way to do it but it is a little cumbersome.

The execution log history is a bit tricky to navigate sometimes and also it is not possible to search the payloads ( I understand this requires heavy indexation and is a difficult feature to implement but for our use case this is where we found it tricky ) but

Their documentation is sometimes lacking in areas like common bugs you can come along or new features that have been added. Also the API docs isn't as informative regarding what the different properties mean.

The documentation could use more work as some use cases are not mentioned. Maybe the search functionality could be updated so that it returns more relevant results.

You have to set up a lot of rules and trial and error to see what works.

The thing I like least about Workato is the pricing—it can get a bit expensive, especially for smaller teams or small businesses. Some features are also a bit tricky to set up at first, it requires a bit of a learning curve to fully understand.

Who/what to turn to for which issues one may have can be its own learning curve and/or frustration.

Users of Workato should have at least some understanding of databases, understand data types, and have explicit goals around what issues they’ll be using to solve using Workato. Without this background, business users might find Workato a little too complicated and a lot more difficult/complex.

The downside was its pricing. I felt like it could be reduced as it accumulates to a large amount over a period of time.

Some features are behind a pricy license like advanced recipe management and detailed logging.

Very steep learning curve. Takes a lot of trial and error until things are built correctly. I wish there was simpler way to test automations in a step-by-step capacity.

The cost, its very expensive for a service.
