Let’s look at how to create Facebook and RD Station automation scenario. When a new lead comes, it will be sent to RD Station creating a new conversion event in RD Station.
You can also set up a similar scenarios with other app, the setup will be the same.
Before creating automations, connect the apps to Albato:
- Connecting Facebook to Albato
- Connecting RD Station to Albato
Sign in to your Albato account. Open the «Automations» tab and click the «New» button. Select Facebook as the data source app and «Ad Lead» event to trigger the autoamtion. Then specify your Facebook connection, as well as the page and form to send the leads.
Now select the operation mode:
Next set up the app to receive the data. In our example we have RD Station. Select «Create conversion event» as an action and specify your RD Station account.
Now we proceed to filling in the fields. In the Name field we select «First name» value from Facebook drop-down list. We also select phone number and email from Facebook drop-down list. You can fill in any field you need.
You can fill in the «Conversion event name» field manually, if the event name is always the same. For example, you can also enter the «Campaign name» parameter there, so that the event name corresponds to the name of the advertising company:
Examples of fields:
The Email field is required. Albato will check contacts data by email. A new contact will be created and a conversion event will be added to it if a new email is found, or an event will be added to the existing contact.
After filling in the required fields, click the «Continue» button at the bottom of the page.
This automation works for one specific form, you will need to create a scenario for each Facebook lead form, or use the trigger on webhooks. In this case, you can create one automation per page.
Done! The automation is created, don’t forget to run it:
Now, when a new lead comes, it will be transferred to RD Station automatically.
