Follow these simple steps to get started
Sign in to your Albato account. Go to the Automation section and click the New button.
The first step is to set up the trigger:
- Choose Webhook
- Choose the Incoming webhook event
- Specify you Webhook connection.
You can connect your Webhook account to Albato by following these instructions if you haven't already done so.
Click the Add a trigger button. Next copy the webhook URL and click the Wait for webhook button.
Follow this link, which will direct you to the AlbatoGPT shortcut page.
Add the AlbatoGPT shortcut to your Shortcuts app. Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone, locate the AlbatoGPT shortcut, and click on the three dots to edit the shortcut. Paste your webhook address in the ADD YOUR WEBHOOK field.
Click on the play icon to launch the shortcut. Send a test request.
Allow AlbatoGPT connect the webhook.
Once completed, proceed to Albato for the next steps.
You will see that variables from Siri have arrived at the webhook, which we will use in further steps.
The second step is to set up the OpenAI action:
- Choose OpenAI
- Choose the Create chat completion action
- Specify your connection.
You can connect your OpenAI account to Albato by following these instructions if you haven't already done so.
Click the Add an action button to proceed.
Set up the model, temperature, and other parameters - this is where you can get creative. Don't forget to assign the role (assistant) and craft the message text, which serves as the prompt. We recommend using the following example:
The final step is to send the response from OpenAI to the Slack channel.
Specify the Slack channel where you want to receive the notifications. In the text message field, include the variables from OpenAI. Follow our example for reference.
Click the Save button to finalize the setup.
