Triggers are events that trigger an automation. All triggers run in real time; that is, data is transferred the moment the event occurs.

App connection
Before setting up automations with Ortto, connect the app to Albato.

Log in to your Albato account. If you don't have an account, sign up here.

Go to the Apps section and click the Add a connection button.
- In the search bar, type Ortto and select it from the menu. Then, click Add a connection to start the setup process.
- Choose a Name for your connection.
- Sign in to your Ortto account to obtain your API key. Expand the CDP tab and select Data sources.
- Click on New data source.
- Choose Custom API (advanced) option.
- Give the data source API a name.
In the Merge strategy fields, select the desired option in Default association. The most common person field used for this purpose is Email. The Association fallback is optional.
- Click on the Create button.
- Copy your API key.
- Paste it in the Albato API Key field and click on Continue button.
Once this process is done, you’ll see a success message and your Ortto account will be connected to Albato.
