Ironclad is a digital platform that helps legal and business teams create, store, and manage contracts online. It allows team members to work together on contracts, regardless of their location or timezone. By connecting Ironclad with Albato, you can automate your contract lifecycle management. Follow the steps below to set it up.
- Log in to your Albato account.
- Go to the Apps section and click Add a connection.
- Search for Ironclad, select it, and click the Add a connection button.
- Enter a name for your connection.
- To get your Client ID and Client Secret and register your client application, log in to your Ironclad account in a new tab.
- Click on your user profile dropdown in the top-right corner and select Company Settings.
- In the left sidebar, go to the API tab.
Note: The API tab will only be visible if you have the API add-on enabled for your instance.
- Click the Create new app button.
- A pop-up will appear. Enter a name for your OAuth application and click Create app.
- You’ll receive a Client ID and Client Secret — copy them.
Important: Save the Client Secret, as it won’t be shown again.
- Complete the application details and click Save Changes.

- Paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the fields on the Albato page and click Continue.
