The Automation delay tool allows you to add an artificial delay in the automation, postponing a step of the scenario for a certain time.
How it works
Let’s suppose we receive an advertising campaign lead from Google Adwords. Upon receipt of the lead, our CRM system - Bitrix24 - creates a record. Now we want sales manager to make an automatic call to the client a few minutes after the record creation (Click2Call feature). In our automation we use Virtual PBX from Almatel.
How to set up
Open the Automation builder section and add the Automation delay tool between steps.
Fill in the Delay field entering the quantity of minutes to delay the scenario action.
In our example we enter 5 and save the setting. Now the next step will start in five minutes. It means that a call to the client will be started in five minutes.
The automation is ready. We can start it now.
Use cases
Case 1
Head of sales department wants to control whether all incoming leads are called.
For that purpose we create an automation of three steps:
- From — Facebook;
- To — Bitrix24;
- Messenger —Telegram.
Then we add a delay between the second and the third steps. Therefore, the head of the sales department will receive in 60 minutes a Telegram message with lead details and a link to Bitrix24 lead card. Manager can check whether the client from the lead was called by following the link in the message.
