    How to connect WordPress to Albato

    Albato lets you connect your WordPress account with hundreds of the most popular apps - without a single line of code! You can automate your daily tasks and focus on what matters most.

    Open the Apps section, click the Add a connection button.

    Select the app from the drop-down list or use the search bar.

    Click the Add a connection button.

    Choose a method to connect WordPress to Albato.

    Enter the required parameters.

    Currently, we have 3 methods available to connect WordPress to Albato:

    • Application password
    • Basic Authentication
    • Jwt Token (Plugin)

    1. Application password

    Sign in to your WordPress account.

    You need to create a password.

    Go to the Users section → Profile.

    Enter any password and save it.

    The created password is displayed 1 time, you need to copy and save it.

    Enter your WordPress login and paste the copied password into the Albato connection fields.

    If you don’t have an opportunity to create a password in WordPress, then you need to use a different method of connection.

    2. Basic Authentication

    This type of authentication requires only your WordPress login and password. You need to use it if you are using WordPress version 5.6 or lower.

    3. Jwt Token (Plugin)

    If you are a user of Jwt you only need to:

    • put the username from Jwt on the Albato field login
    • put the password from Jwt on the Albato field password.

    Reminder:

    As WordPress is an open source tool, it may be the case that you use a different plugin for authorization. If this is so, please share it with us so our development team can assess the feasibility of adding it to the available authorization methods for wordpress.
