    How to connect UserGuiding to Albato


    IN THIS ARTICLE

    UserGuiding helps you onboard your users with product walkthroughs that don't require any coding, allowing you to prompt the right in-app experience.

    Available triggers

    Triggers are the events that trigger the automation, All triggers run in real time, i,e, data is transferred in the moment the event occurs

    • Guide preview started (Beta)
    • Guide preview completed (Beta)
    • Survey shown (Beta)
    • Survey question answered (Beta)
    • Checklist item URL clicked (Beta)
    • Checklist сompleted (Beta)

    Available actions

    Actions are what Albato performs when your automation is running, Actions also allow you to transfer data to other apps and systems

    • Create event
    • Create or update user
    • Delete user
    • Reset history
    • Get user detail

    Before setting up integrations with UserGuiding, connect the app to Albato.

    To do this, go to the Apps section and click the Add a connection button.

    Select the app and click the Add a connection button.

    Come up with a name for your connection.

    Enter your UG-API-KEY and choose the region form the drop-down list.

    Click the Continue button.

    How to get UG-API-KEY

    Sign in to your UserGuiding account.

    Go to the Settings tab -> Installation -> Copy your key.

    Paste the key into the Albato connection field.

    Click the Continue button.

    The connection is ready!

    How to set up webhook

    Read the information and click the Got it button.

    Copy the Albato webhook URL.

    Go to your UserGuiding account.

    Go to the Integrations section.

    Click on the Webhook URL field.

    Enter your Albato webhook URL.

    Click the Complete Integration button.

    Now you're all set!
