Before setting up automations with ManyChat, connect the app to Albato.
To do this, go to the Apps section and click the Add a connection button.
Select the app from the drop-down list or use the search bar. Click the Add a connection button.
Set the name for your connection. Paste the API key from your ManyChat account.
How to get API key
Sign in to your ManyChat account. Go to the Settings section → «Extensions» → API. Click the Create your API key button.
Please note: if you update or delete the token, all connected API methods will be disabled!
Copy the key.
Paste the key into the Albato connection field. Click the Continue button.
Your connection is ready!

How to set up a webhook for ManyChat

Copy the webhook URL from the Albato connection page for ManyChat. This URL is required so that ManyChat can send data to Albato.

Go to your ManyChat account and add an Action block to your automation.
- Next, go to Automation → Make External Request.
- Once you click Add your request, the configuration window will open.
- In this window, you can choose the request type POST, GET, PUT, or DELETE. After you select the request type, enter the Request URL and fill in any necessary headers.
Note: Only HTTPS links are allowed.
