# How to connect ManyContacts to Albato

IN THIS ARTICLE

[ManyContacts is a platform for businesses](https://albato.com/apps/manycontacts) that use WhatsApp for sales or customer support.

**Available Triggers:**

> Triggers are events that trigger an automation. All triggers run in real time; that is, data is transferred the moment the event occurs.

-   Contact Updated
-   New Message
-   Contact Created

**Available Actions:**

> Actions are what Albato performs when your automation is running. Actions also allow you to transfer data to other apps and systems.

-   Create Contact
-   Update Contact
-   Add Contact Tag
-   Add Contact Custom Field
-   Find a contact by phone number
-   Send WhatsApp Message
-   Create internal note (yellow) in a conversation
-   Create Tag
-   Mark the conversation as open
-   Mark the conversation as closed

Before setting up integrations with **ManyContacts** connect the app to Albato.

To do this, go to the **Apps** section and click the **Add a connection** button.

Select the app and click the **Add a connection** button.

Come up with a **name** for your connection.

Enter your **API key** and click the **Continue** button.

### How to get API key

Sign in to your ManyContacts account and click on the **Settings** icon.

Go to the **API/Developers** tab.

Copy the API key.

Paste the API key into the Albato connection field and click the **Continue** button.

### How to set up webhook

Copy the Albato webhook URL.

Go back to your ManyContacts account, click on the **Attention** icon, and paste the Albato webhook URL into the field of the **Webhooks** block.
