# How to connect Knack to Albato

[By integrating Knack with Albato](https://albato.com/apps/knack), you can automate data transfers between Knack and other tools you use, ensuring your information is always up-to-date and easily accessible. Whether you're managing customer data, tracking inventory, or handling project details, this integration helps you streamline your processes, reduce manual entry, and eliminate errors.

**Available Trigger:**

> Triggers are events that trigger an automation. All triggers run in real time; that is, data is transferred the moment the event occurs.

-   Record Updated
-   Form Submitted

**Available Actions**

> Actions are what Albato performs when your automation is running. Actions also allow you to transfer data to other apps and systems.

Before setting up automations with **Knack**, connect the app to Albato.

To do this, go to the **Apps** section and click the **Add a connection** button.

Enter the **required** parameters and click the **Continue** button.

### How to get API key

Sign in to your Knack account. Choose the app you want to connect.

Open the **Setting** tab ➝ **API & Code**.

Copy your Application ID and API Key.

Paste the values into the Albato connection fields. Click the **Continue** button.

The connection is ready!
