How to get Moosend API-key

Moosend is the easiest email marketing and automation software for managing multiple email campaigns, mailing lists, newsletters, and more.

Albato allows you to connect your Moosend account with hundreds of the most popular apps - no code required! You can automate your daily tasks and focus on more important work.

Open the Apps section, click the Add a connection button.

Select the app from the drop-down list or use the search bar. Click the Add a connection button.

Set the name for your connection. This is an optional setting to help avoid confusion if you have multiple accounts for the same app.

Specify Access token.

How to get an Access token

Sign in to your Moosend account. Click your account icon in the right-top menu and go to the "Settings" section.

Then open the API key section. In this section, you can copy a ready-made API key or generate a new one to connect your account to Albato.

Copy the key and paste it in the Albato Access token field. Click the Continue button.

How to set up a Moosend trigger to send data to Albato

On the Moosend home page, find and open the Automation section, then click on the "Create New Automation" button.

Now select the triggers that will start the action you need. Click the "Select your trigger" button.

Then open the "List engagement" section and go to the "When someone subscribes to any list" trigger.

In the trigger setting, select the "Trigger for every subscription" option from the drop-down list. Click the “Save” button.

The first trigger is set, add the next one.

As in the case with the first trigger, select the "List engagement" section and go to the "When someone unsubscribes from any list" trigger.

In the trigger setting, select the "Trigger for every unsubscription" option from the drop-down list. Click the “Save” button.

Ready! Both triggers are configured.

Now you need to set the Webhook URL to send data to Albato. To do this, click "+" and add an action.

Open the "Actions" section, then select the "Then post a Webhook" option.

Copy Webhook URL from Albato. You can find the URL in the Apps section.

Paste the copied URL and click the "Save" button.

Now specify the methods. Click the “Notes” icon on the "Then post a webhook" card.

In a modal window, you need to enter the “POST” method and click the “Save” button.

Repeat this step. The “Then post a webhook” card should display two methods. The selected triggers will send data to Albato with this method (POST).

The setup is completed. We can start automation. Move the switch to the "Active" position to enable your automation.

Ready! Now your Moosend account can send data to your Albato account.
