# How to Connect TeamViewer to Albato

IN THIS ARTICLE

[TeamViewer](https://albato.com/apps/teamviewer) is a remote access and support platform that enables secure connections between devices. It’s used for IT support, file transfer, and remote collaboration. Connect TeamViewer with Albato to integrate it with over 800+ apps, including AI tools like [Grok](https://albato.com/apps/grok) and [Claude](https://albato.com/apps/claude_ai_anthropic). Follow the steps below to set it up.

### Step-by-step instructions

1.  [Log in](https://albato.com/app/user/auth/login?lang=en) to your Albato account.

2.  Go to the **Apps** section and click **Add a connection**.

3.  Search for **TeamViewer**, select it, and click **Add a connection** again.

4.  Name your connection.

5.  To get your **AccessToken**, log in to your [TeamViewer Oauth account](https://login.teamviewer.com/) in a new tab.

6.  Click on **Profile** in the top-right corner, then select **Edit Profile**.

7.  Navigate to the **Apps** section.

8.  Click on **Create app**.

9.  In the **Redirect URI** field, enter: `https://r.albato.com/oauth/back/state`.

10.  Select the required scopes:

-   “**create sessions**” under the **Sessions Management** section;
-   “**read groups**” under the **Group Management** section;
-   “**read user groups**” under the **User Groups** section.

_Note: If you are using a custom action in Albato, the scopes above may not be sufficient. In that case, check TeamViewer's API documentation and create a new app with additional permissions._

11.  Click on **Create**. Then, select your newly created app.

12.  Copy your **Client ID** and **Client Secret**.

13.  Return to Albato and paste them into the appropriate fields. Click on **Continue**.

14.  Tap the **Grant Albato access** button.

15.  Click **Allow** to confirm.

Your connection is ready, and you can now create automations with Albato and TeamViewer.
