# How to Connect Smashsend to Albato

[Smashsend](https://albato.com/apps/smashsend) is an email and SMS marketing platform that helps businesses create, automate, and track messaging campaigns. Connect Smashsend with Albato to integrate it with over 1000+ apps, including AI tools like [Grok](https://albato.com/apps/grok) and [Claude](https://albato.com/apps/claude_ai_anthropic). Follow the steps below to set it up.

### Step-by-step instructions

1.  Log in to your Albato account.

2.  Go to the **Apps** section and click **Add a connection**.

3.  Search for **Smashsend**, select it, and click **Add a connection** again.

4.  To get your API key, log in to your Smashsend account in a new tab.
    
5.  Open the **Settings**, go to the **API Keys** section.

6.  Click **Create API key** to generate a new secret key.

7.  Copy your **API Key**.

8.  Finally, paste your API Key into the field on the Albato page and click Continue.
