# How to Connect ShipStation to Albato

IN THIS ARTICLE

[ShipStation](https://www.shipstation.com/) is a cloud-based shipping and order management software that helps businesses automate their fulfillment workflows. By connecting ShipStation with Albato, you can set up your order imports, track updates, and integrate with 1000+ apps, including AI tools like [Grok](https://albato.com/apps/grok) and [Gemini](https://albato.com/apps/gemini_ai). Follow the steps below to set it up.

1.  [Log in](https://albato.com/app/user/auth/login?lang=en) to your Albato account.

2.  Go to the **Apps section** and click **Add a connection**.

3.  Search for **ShipStation**, select it, and click **Add a connection** again.

4.  Name your connection.

5.  To get your **API key** and **API secret**, [log in](https://ship14.shipstation.com/home) to your ShipStation account in a new tab.

6.  Click the **Settings** (gear) icon in the top-right corner of your ShipStation dashboard to open the main configuration menu.

7.  Select the **Account** section from the left-hand sidebar and choose **API Settings** to access your API credentials.

8.  Click **Generate API Key**.

9.  In the confirmation pop-up click **Generate** again to create a new key pair.

10.  Copy the **API Key** and **API Secret**, you need to paste these into Albato to complete your connection.

11.  Paste your **API Key** and **Secret Key** into the fields on the Albato page and click **Continue**.

12.  Your connection is ready, and you can now create automations with Albato and ShipStation. If you have any issues, contact support via the live chat on our website.
