# How to Connect OneSignal to Albato

IN THIS ARTICLE

[OneSignal](https://albato.com/apps/onesignal) is a customer messaging platform that allows teams to send push notifications, emails, SMS, and in-app messages. Connect OneSignal with Albato to integrate it with 1,000+ apps, including AI tools like [ChatGPT](https://albato.com/apps/openai) and [Gemini](https://albato.com/apps/gemini_ai).

### Step-by-step instruction

#### How to get API Key

1.  Log in to your [OneSignal account](https://dashboard.onesignal.com/apps).
    
2.  Select your **App** in OneSignal.

3.  Then open the **Settings** section.

4.  Next, go to **Keys & IDs**.

5.  Copy your **App ID**, as you will need it later in Albato.

6.  After that, copy your App ID. Click **Add Key** to generate a new API key.

7.  Enter a name for the key (for example, “Albato Integration”). Click **Create** to generate the key.

8.  Finally, click **Copy to Clipboard** to copy your **API Key**.

9.  [Log in](https://albato.com/app/user/auth/login?lang=en) to your Albato account.

10.  Then go to the **Apps** section and click **Add a connection**.

11.  Next, type **OneSignal** in the search field. Click **Add a connection** again to proceed.

12.  Now paste the **App ID** and **API Key** into the corresponding fields.

13.  Then click **Continue** to save the connection.
     
14.  After that, copy the generated **Albato Webhook URL**, you will need it in OneSignal.

15.  Next, return to your OneSignal dashboard. Open the **Data** section.

16.  Then select **Event Streams**.

17.  Click **New Event Stream** to create a new webhook stream.

18.  Enter a name for the stream (for example, “Hook Albato”).

19.  Next, click **Select Events**.

20.  Then click **Done** to confirm your selection.

21.  Paste the **Albato Webhook URL** into the destination field.

27.  Set the request method to **POST**.

28.  Configure the request body according to your needs.

29.  Click **Save** to store the event stream settings.

30.  Finally, click **Activate** to enable the event stream.
