# How to Connect Documentero to Albato

[Documentero](https://albato.com/apps/documentero) is a document platform that allows users to generate Word, Excel, and PDF files with custom templates. Connect Documentero with Albato to integrate it with over 1,000+ apps, including AI tools like [Grok](https://albato.com/apps/grok) and [Claude](https://albato.com/apps/claude_ai_anthropic). ### Step-by-step connection instructions

1.  [Log in](https://albato.com/app/user/auth/login?lang=en) to your Albato account.

2.  Go to the **Apps** section and click **Add a connection**.

3.  Search for **Documentero**, select it, and click **Add a connection** again.

4.  To get your **API key**, log in to your [Documentero account](https://documentero.com/) in a new tab.

5.  Go to your **profile** and copy your **API key**.

6.  Finally, paste your **API key** into the field on the Albato page and click **Continue**.
