How to Connect Athenahealth to Albato

Step-by-step instructions
- Log in to your Albato account.

- Go to the Apps section and click Add a connection.

- Type Athenahealth in the search field and select it from the results.

Log in to your Athenahealth Developer Portal and open your application. Make sure the app is configured with App Category = 2-Legged OAuth and Authentication Method = Secret.

Go to the Credentials tab. Copy your Client ID and Secret.

- Go to the Scopes tab. Add the following scopes if they are not already listed:
athena/service/Athenanet.MDP.*,system/Patient.read,system/Organization.read,system/Practitioner.read,system/Provenance.read,system/Patient.s,system/Organization.s,system/Practitioner.s,system/Provenance.s.

- Return to Albato. In the connection form, enter a name for the connection, select the Domain (Preview or Production), then paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the corresponding fields. Click Continue.

- The connection is created.
