# Optimize Your Media Management: How to Connect Gumlet with Albato

[Gumlet](https://albato.com/apps/gumlet) is an innovative solution for optimizing media delivery, providing businesses with the tools to manage and deliver images and videos seamlessly across platforms.

With Albato, you can effortlessly connect Gumlet with over 800 apps to automate your media workflows, improve performance, and streamline content management.

**Available Triggers:**

> Triggers are events that trigger an automation. All triggers run in real time; that is, data is transferred the moment the event occurs.

**Available Actions:**

> Actions are what Albato performs when your automation is running. Actions also allow you to transfer data to other apps and systems.

-   Upload Video
-   Custom API request

## App connection

Before setting up automations with Gumlet, connect the app to Albato.

1.  Log in to your Albato account. If you don't have an account, sign up [here](https://albato.com/).
    
2.  Go to the **Apps** section and click the **Add a connection** button.

3.  In the search bar, type **Gumlet** and select it from the menu. Then, click **Add a connection** to start the setup process.

4.  Choose a Name for your connection.

5.  Sign in to your Gumlet account to obtain your API key. Expand the **User** tab, then, select **API Keys**.

6.  Click on **Generate API Key**.

7.  Give your key a name and select the role **Owner Has - all permissions** from the drop-down list.

8.  Click on **Create API Key**.

9.  Copy your API key.

10.  Paste it into the Albato API Key field and click **Continue** to establish the connection.

Once this process is done, you’ll see a success message and your Gumlet account will be connected to Albato.
