# Boost Your Communication: How to Integrate Rocket.Chat with Albato

[Rocket.Chat](https://albato.com/apps/rocketchat) is a secure and sovereign communications platform for governments, defense, and critical infrastructure enterprises.

**Available Actions**

> Actions are what Albato performs when your automation is running. Actions also allow you to transfer data to other apps and systems.

-   Send a message to the channel
-   Send a private message to the user
-   Creating a public channel
-   Updating the message
-   Create a new team
-   Custom API request

## App connection

Before setting up automations with Rocket.Chat, connect the app to Albato.

1.  Log in to your Albato account. If you don't have an account, sign up [here](https://albato.com/).
    
2.  Go to the **Apps** section and click the **Add a connection** button.

3.  In the search bar, type **Rocket.Chat** and select it from the menu. Then, click **Add a connection** to start the setup process.

4.  Choose a Name for your connection

5.  Sign in to your Rocket.Chat account to obtain your Organization's URL, User ID, and Access Token.
    
6.  You can find your **Organization's URL** in your browser's address bar once you're logged in.
    

7.  To get your **User ID** and **Token**, click on the **Profile** button.

8.  Go to the **Personal Access Tokens** tab and enter a name. Then click on the **Add** button.

9.  You will be prompted to enter your Rocket.Chat password.

10.  After that, a pop-up window with your User ID and Token will appear.

11.  Enter the required information into the Albato connection fields and click **Continue** to establish the connection.

Once this process is done, you’ll see a success message and your Rocket.Chat account will be connected to Albato.
