# Automate your data workflows with AITable.ai and ChatGPT(OpenAI)

In this tutorial, we will show you how to connect [AITable.ai and OpenAI](https://albato.com/connect/aitable-with-openai) through Albato to generate a summary based on data from AITabale.

AITable.ai and OpenAI integration can benefit data analysts, researchers, developers, and professionals dealing with extensive datasets across various domains and industries. This scenario is designed to meet the needs of individuals and teams seeking a robust solution for data-driven insights and information extraction.

## How to create automation

Sign in to your Albato account. Go to the **Automation** section and click the **Create new automation** button.

The first step is to set up a **trigger**.

> Triggers are events that trigger an automation. All triggers run in real time, that is, data is transferred the moment the event occurs.

-   Choose **AITable**.
-   Choose the **New record** event.
-   Specify your **AITable connection**.
-   In the **Additional parameters** fields, select the spaces, folders and tables that you want to use.

Click the **Add a trigger** button and move on to the next step - **set up an action**.

> Actions are what Albato performs when your automation is running. Actions also allow you to transfer data to other apps and systems.

-   Choose **OpenAI**.
-   Choose the **Create chat completion** action.
-   Specify your **OpenAI connection**.

Click the **Add an action** button and **Map the fields**.

Set up the model, temperature, and other parameters - this is where you can get creative. Don't forget to assign the role (assistant) and craft the message text, which serves as the prompt.

The final step is to send the response from OpenAI to the AITable space. To do this, click on **+** and then select **Action**.

-   Choose **AITable**.
-   Choose the **Update the record** event.
-   Specify your **AITable connection**.
-   In the **Additional parameters** fields, select the AITable space, folder and table where you want to receive the created summary.

In the mapping, choose the variable from AITable in the **Record ID** field. In the **Summary** field choose the result of the OpenAI action - **Response content**.

Click the **Save** button to finalize the setup.

It's time to activate the integration! Start the scenario and see the seamless automation in action.
