How to Send New Records from Airtable to Your Nuvemshop Store
IN THIS ARTICLE
If you manage your product catalog in Airtable (with names, descriptions, prices, stock levels) and sell through Nuvemshop, keeping both platforms aligned usually means copying data by hand every time something changes. That's slow, repetitive, and prone to errors as your catalog grows.
Albato keeps them in sync. In this guide, we'll set up an automation that creates a product in Nuvemshop every time a new record is added in Airtable. Follow the steps below to set it up.
Creating the connections
Before creating the automation itself, it's important to ensure that both apps are connected to Albato. This process is straightforward and won't take more than a few minutes.
If you haven't created the connections yet, access Albato, go to the Apps tab on the platform, and click on Add new connection.
Search for Airtable and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you've finished the necessary setup, repeat the process to also connect Nuvemshop.
You'll see a success message, and then you'll be ready to create your automation.
How to create the automation
Go to Albato's Automations tab and click on Create new automation.

Then, click on the first step to add the automation Trigger.
In other words, this is the action that will happen in Airtable (New record created) that will trigger the automation and send data to Nuvemshop.

Next, select the Airtable app, the New record action, and specify which database and list you want to use in this automation.

After clicking Continue, define whether you want the automation to bring old records from Airtable (data migration), or if the data collection should start from now on (real-time).

The next step is to add the Nuvemshop action. Repeat the process to add a new step, but now click on Step 2.

Add the Nuvemshop app and, for the action, select Create Product.

You'll now see several fields that you can fill in. Each of these fields corresponds to your new product that will be created in Nuvemshop.
You can either type fixed values, which will apply to all products, or click on each field to select dynamic values from the record created in Airtable.

Fill in the fields you want, according to which product information should appear in Nuvemshop.
Then, click Save.

Your automation is now ready to use — just activate it.

From now on, whenever a new record is added to your selected Airtable database and list, a product will automatically be created in Nuvemshop.
If you're unsure whether the automation worked correctly, click on the Automation Log, or go directly to the History tab to check the results.

If there are any errors, they will also appear on this page. There, you can see at which step the error occurred and the reason why.
