How to Create New Contacts and Deals in Kommo Whenever a New Booking Is Created in Tidycal
IN THIS ARTICLE
If you use Tidycal to take client bookings, each new reservation usually means work in your CRM — creating a contact, opening a deal, assigning it to a rep, or starting a follow-up. Doing that manually after every booking takes time and creates gaps when things get busy.
In this guide, we'll set up an automation that creates a contact and a deal in Kommo every time a new booking is made in Tidycal. Follow the steps below to set it up.
Creating the connection
Before creating the automation, connect both Tidycal and Kommo to Albato.
If you've already connected them, you can skip to the next step.
To connect the apps, go to the Apps tab in Albato, click on Add a connection and search for Tidycal.
Follow the instructions that appear on your screen until the process is completed.

Next, repeat the same process to connect Kommo.
How to create the automation
Now that the apps are connected, go to the Automations tab in Albato and click on Create new automation.

Then, click on the first step of your automation to add a trigger.

Select the Tidycal app and, in events, choose Booking is created.

Now click on the second step to add the Kommo action.

First, configure this step to create a contact, so we can associate it with a deal later. Set it up as shown below.

After clicking Continue, fill in the fields where you want information to appear in Kommo.
The Title field is mandatory. To fill it (and the optional fields), you can type a fixed value manually, use a parameter from Tidycal by clicking on the field and choosing from the list, or combine both.

After filling in all the fields, click Save.
Before adding the Deal step, create an extra step using the Iterator tool.
This tool allows you to access the data generated by the Create Contact action and use it in the New Deal action that follows.

In the iterator step, configure it as shown below.

Now click the + icon to add another Kommo step.

This will be the Kommo New Lead action (despite the name, this task creates a Deal in your platform).

The Status and Title fields are mandatory.
For Status, click on the field and select a pre-defined value from the list.

For Title, just like in the previous step, you can use dynamic values from Tidycal, fixed values, or a combination of both.

In the Contact ID field, select the ID that the previous step (iterator) will generate. This ensures that the deal is associated with the correct contact.

After filling in all the desired fields, click Save and choose whether you want duplicate deals to be created or only when no similar previous records exist.

Click Start to activate your automation.
Now you can automatically create contacts and deals in Kommo for every new booking created in Tidycal. If you have any questions, contact our support via chat.
