How to Connect Gong to Albato

Gong is a revenue intelligence platform that helps sales teams capture customer conversations, analyze calls, and use conversation data in sales workflows. Connect Gong with Albato to integrate it with 1,000+ apps, including AI tools like ChatGPT or Grok, and automate work with calls, rules, and notifications.

Follow the steps below to create a Gong connection in Albato and configure webhook sending from Gong.

 

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Log in to your Albato account.

  1. Go to the Apps section and click Add a connection.

  1. Type Gong in the search field, select the service, and click Add a connection.

  1. Name the connection. Keep the Domain, Access Key ID, and Secret Key fields open. You will fill them in after getting the credentials from Gong.

  2. Open your Gong account, go to Admin center, and open API in the Ecosystem section.

  1. On the API Keys tab, copy the Base URL without the https:// protocol. Then click Get API Key and save the Access Key ID and Secret Key.

  1. Return to Albato. Enter the Gong Domain, Access Key ID, and Secret Key, then click Continue.

  1. Copy the generated Webhook URL. Gong will use this URL to send data to Albato.

  1. Return to Gong. In the Admin center, open Automation rules.

  1. Click Add rule. Set the trigger to New call, set the action to Fire webhook, and paste the Albato Webhook URL into the URL field.

  1. Enter a rule name, for example Albato, review the rule settings, and click Save.
