How to Connect Gmail to Albato?

To connect your Gmail account to Albato, please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Apps section in your account and click the Add a connection button:

  1. Search for Gmail and click Add a connection:

  1. Set the connection name and click Continue:

  1. Click the Grant access button, allow access to your account, and your connection will be ready:

How to send an email through Gmail via Albato?

To send an email through Gmail via Albato, use the Gmail: Send email action as shown below:

  1. Add the Gmail: Send email action to your automation. In this example, the Albato Test trigger is used for demonstration:

  1. Fill in the From, To, Subject, and Body fields, as well as any other required fields:

  1. When the automation runs, the email will be sent automatically:

Can I create labels and add them to my emails with Albato?

Yes. To create labels in Gmail, add the Gmail: Create label action:

Now you can fill in the details about the label:

To add labels to your email, use another action called Gmail: Add label to email:

Can I receive data about new emails with a selected tag?

Yes. To receive data about new emails with a selected tag, use the trigger Gmail: A new email with the selected tag:

Click Save and start the automation. You will receive all new emails that have the selected tag.

Additionally, you can also get data about new emails that match a specific search string:

Click Save, and the automation will fetch all incoming emails that match the provided string.

 

Can I download the attachments from an email?

Unfortunately, this is not available as a feature at the moment.
