How to Connect HeyReach to Albato

HeyReach is a LinkedIn outreach platform that helps agencies, sales teams and GTM experts manage multiple accounts and send personalized messages. Connect HeyReach with Albato to integrate it with over 1 000+ apps, including AI tools like Claude and Gemini. Follow the steps below to set it up.
- Log in to your Albato account.

- Go to the Apps section and click Add a connection.

- Search for HeyReach, select it, and click Add a connection again.

- Name your connection.

- To get your API key, go to your HeyReach dashboard in a new tab. Next, tap Get API Key.

- Then, copy your API Key, you need it in the next step.

- Return to Albato, paste your API Key into the field. Then, click Continue.

Webhook setup
- Copy your Webhook from the Albato page and go back to HeyReach.

- In the HeyReach dashboard, click View/Create Webhook.

- Type your webhook name and paste the copied webhook URL. Then, select the events you want to track (e.g., message sent, response received). Finally, click Save Webhook.

How to work with custom fields in HeyReach
HeyReach is a LinkedIn prospecting and outreach platform designed primarily for sales teams, agencies, and companies focused on lead generation.
As we already know, when connected to Albato, the possibilities become even more powerful and strategic. In this guide, you'll learn how to use custom fields associated with your leads.
This allows you to send even more information through your automations.
Creating custom fields directly in HeyReach
Custom fields created within HeyReach can be used in your Albato automations and mapped in specific actions within the application.
To create a custom field, the first step is to upload a list of leads.
In HeyReach, navigate to the Leads section.

Click Add Leads.

Choose the Import From CSV option.

Note: If you do not want to add leads using a spreadsheet, don't worry. You can also create custom fields directly from the Albato interface, and we'll show you how in the next section of this article.
Click Continue.

After selecting the CSV file from your computer.

You'll notice that the spreadsheet columns are automatically identified and converted into variables, alongside the application's default variables.
To add new variables (custom fields), scroll to the bottom of the page and click Add a Custom Variable.

Set the type to RequestBody, then enter the desired field name.

Repeat this process for all fields you want to create.
Finally, in Albato, go to the Apps tab and, within your HeyReach connection, click to refresh the connection.

The field will then become available for use in your Albato automations. See the example below within the Add Leads to Campaign action.

How to create a custom field directly in Albato
Creating a custom field through Albato is even easier.
To do this, go to the Apps tab in Albato and open your HeyReach connection.

At the bottom of the page, you will find the option to add a field.

Simply enter the desired field format and field name.

After clicking Save and Refresh Connection, the field will immediately become available for use in automations, in any application actions where lead information can be utilized.
